Just be careful and follow the gym rules. If you have ever been to a gym you should have already known that Gym is full of different types of peoples some are good, some are bad and if you want to be a good person in the gym this blog is for you.
You will be in the gym for like an hour or more, less. In that amount of time, you have to be gentle and do your workout without using phones or communicating with other gym members.
Because imagine waiting for a piece of equipment but a person is sitting( in machines) or just keeping the equipment(dumbbells, jumping rope,..) and what actually he/she doing is using the phone, chatting with others. Wouldn't it be awkward?
It will be so boring waiting for someone to finish their workout so you can do it but they be like talking or chatting and all you can do there is stare at them and sit.
A good gym person is who is not smelling bad.
Imagine you have to do your workout next to a guy/girl who is smelling so bad. Smelling bad after the workout due to sweetness is ok but if the person is smelling even before starting their workout is terrible.
These are just basic things, it is actually going to be very long if I point out the problems so I will down write the main things in points so it will be easy for you.
How to be a good person in the gym?
There is no any definition for a good gym person so just consider that the person who is clean, smelling good, keep equipment back, Help others, focus on the workout, use towels, doesn't make a lot of noise, isn't an ego lifter, making good progress and many more.
- Clean and smell good:
If you wanna be a good gym person first be clean and don't smell bad. Keep changing clothes and take a shower daily. It will be uncomfortable to workout next to a dirty person. always be clean in the gym.
- Always re-rack the equipment:
Listen you should always keep back the weight in its place because not everyone is able to use the same amount of weights which will be hard for kids or old people to re-rack the weight. For eg: if you left a machine without re-racking a kid may drop weight while re-racking the weight you left because the weight was heavy for them and he/she wanted to use the machine.
And you can help the employees by keeping the equipment back in its place.
And also it may disturb some people to work out because of the equipment thrown all around the place.
-Knows the value of time :
If you do your workout faster other will also get the chance to do their workout.
Respect someone's time value because not everyone has too much of free time.

Every gym has its own rule. Follow the rules and you are already a good gym person.
- Respect others :
A good person doesn't judge people. He /she respect that someone is going to make progress. Just because someone is fat doesn't mean they should be humiliated or make fun of them just respect that they are trying to change their bad habits, Respect their courage. Just leave them in their own don't laugh at them or don't try to make the videos of them, They are in the gym for the good so motivate them.
-Help others :
A good gym person will help others. They motivate people and help to learn new people how to do workouts.
-Focus on the workout:
If you keep doing your workout without any distractions you will finish it on time and the next person will do it. It is good for you both. Many people stare at others while they are working out so don't stare other people because not everyone likes to be stared. You may make them insecure or mad.
-use towels:
Imagine you wanted to use a piece of equipment and all of sudden you saw the equipment you wanted to use is full of someone's sweat. Will you use it? of course not so you should always use a towel while working out. Always Keep a towel with you.
- Doesn't make a lot of noise :
You know that we can make noise while doing heavy workouts like deadlift, leg press,squat.. and it is not bad. But if you shout, scream and talk too loud it may disturb other people in the gym so be careful with what you are doing.
- Isn't an ego lifter.
In every gym, there is an ego lifter who think he is big and lift heavy but what actually he does is scream so loud and lift while having bad posture. Don't be that type of jocker in the gym.
- Making progress.
If you see some people who aren't making progress than they are just coming to the gym for fun and not for their health. They just came to gym use equipment and waste their time you might think it's their time they can do whatever they want. But my friend the problem is some people may miss their workout because they cannot get their chance to use the equipment while a dude is wasting his time playing with equipment.
